About Joanne

Many years of working with people, especially those facing issues at the end of their life, has taught Joanne that what we all crave and value most is our connection to other people. By creating an environment of safety, understanding, and empathy people can explore their own needs and values. Joanne uses the bio-psycho-social model to enhance peoples understanding of themselves and their relationships, and also uses this model to help people effect change.

Background and Experience

Joanne has worked with people in community settings and educational institutions, and both the private and public healthcare system. She has worked in a variety of roles, including nurse, naturopath, counsellor and educator. Her career caring for people has spanned over 30 years.
