Charlotte’s approach is informed by an ongoing interest in people’s inner and outer worlds, as shown by her background in acting and literary studies. Charlotte is committed to supporting clients in exploring and better understanding their lived experience. She works within a collaborative, humanist framework, being guided by as well as guiding her clients.

Background and Experience

For the past 10 years Charlotte has worked in the area of addiction, with a focus on alcohol, drug and gambling disorders. Charlotte’s Masters’ thesis focused on treatment of people with a dual diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder and Eating Disorders. This led to Charlotte working within specialist mental health services for the treatment of these disorders. More recently, Charlotte has been employed within public mental health services with a focus on working with people experiencing psychotic disorders.
